Harvest 

On Tuesday 17th October, Bedwas and Rhydri Schools will be having a harvest assembly at Bethel Bedwas Church. Children are invited to bring a voluntary donation of non-perishable food to school that day e.g. tinned veg, cereals and bottled drinks. The collection will be donated to the Parish Trust Food bank. 

Diwrnod Shwmae 

We will be celebrating 'Diwrnod Shwmae' on Monday 16th October. As part of the celebration, we are asking if pupils could come into school wearing something that is red, white or green. 
 

Panto 

A reminder that the schools will be attending a panto and that the slips are due in by Monday 16th October. 
 

PTA - Guess the Weight of The Pumpkin 

Our PTA ‘Guess the Weight of The Pumpkin’ event has started. Each class has one of our home-grown pumpkins for your children to guess the weight of. Each guess costs 20p and you can have as many guesses as you like. The person with the closest guess from each class will win a Halloween hamper as well as the pumpkin. The final date to enter will be Thursday 19th October. 
 

Lost Property 

During the week of our parent consultation, there will be a table of lost property which is growing by the day that will be available for you to look through. Please remember to write children's names on their clothes. 
 

Parent Teacher Consultations 

Bedwas Junior School will be holding their PTCs the week of 23rd October. Please phone the school office to make arrangements for an appointment with your child's teacher. We recognise this is the same week as Bedwas Infant School, if you are given a time that clashes with a sibling in the Infants, please phone the Juniors and we will rearrange.  

Cross Country 

A huge well done to everyone who attended Caerphilly’s cross-country today. You all did amazingly well!
