Spring Term Updates

School

At the moment both of our schools have adequate staffing capacity to open for all classes as planned on Thursday 6th January. 

If the situation changes for any class / classes in the meantime and there is the need for them to ‘close’ and therefore access remote learning we will let you know as soon as we are aware of this.

 

Breakfast Club

It is planned that breakfast clubs for both schools will recommence on the same day subject to the required staff being available for work. CCBC run the breakfast clubs and will inform us if they have to close the club due to staff absence. We will pass this on to you via the school website and text service as soon as they make us aware of the need to close but please be aware that this will probably be at very short notice.

With the numbers we currently have attending the breakfast clubs in both schools we are able to maintain the contact bubbles and this enables us to meet the requirements of our risk assessment. However, as part of the updated guidance sent out to schools, one of the mitigations against Covid we are required to consider (amongst others) is temporarily closing a breakfast club should it be considered necessary. At the moment this is just for you to be aware of the possibility. If this is ever the case we will inform you as soon as that decision is taken.
