Friends of Bedwas Juniors Dates for your Diary

• From Friday 8th October: ‘Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin’. 50p per guess. (Winner from each class announced on Thursday 21st October. Winners get the pumpkin and a bag of treats. Small bag of sweets for each child).

• Friday 15th October. Large cookies for sale. 20p each (1 per child).

• Thursday 21st October: non-uniform day. Optional autumnal colours theme. £1 donation per child, where possible. ‘Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin’ winners announced.

• Friday 12th November: non-uniform day. Optional winter colours theme. £1 donation per child, where possible.

• Friday 26th November: Christmas raffle tickets on sale. £1 per strip, to be returned to school by Tuesday December 14th. Raffle to be drawn on Thursday 16th December.

• Friday 3rd December: non-uniform day. Optional Christmas accessories theme (This is in addition to Christmas Jumper Day; details to follow via newsletter and blog). £1 donation per child, where possible.

• Friday 10th December: Christmas quiz sheets available. 50p per child. To be returned by Wednesday 15th December. Prize for the winner in each class. (Tie break questions in the event of 2 or more children having the same score.)

• Friday 17th December: “Santa” visit to school.

• Week beginning 29th November: Christmas Craft Day.

Film and Treats afternoon: dates to be confirmed.
