Snow Update for Parents of the Children Attending the Key Worker Provision On-Site

Both schools have been cleared and gritted today.

The only reason we would need to close tomorrow (barring any exceptional circumstances) would be if there is a significant change in the weather overnight or if we do not have the staffing capacity available to safely care for the children.

At the moment I do not expect either to be a problem but we will update you by 8am tomorrow morning if this changes. I appreciate that this is quite late but sometimes the staff will only realise they are unable to make it to site once they have attempted to make the journey. The situation is complicated by the necessity for us to make every effort to maintain the separate bubbles and the relevant staff cover for those individual groups.
